Never been to Israel? Or are you looking for a way to get back. Visiting Israel can be one of the most magical and memorable experiences of your life and whether your flavor is sight-seeing, studying age old texts of the Jewish people, or volunteering, there are many opportunities to choose from. Other than Taglit-Birthright Israel, there are other ways to get to Israel. Many programs offer financial aid, so be sure to ask. For additional funding, contact your local Federation and your local synagogue/temple.

Taglit-Birthright Israel
Want to see the sun rise after scaling Masada? Watch the sun set over the Mediterranean? Drop a note in the Western Wall? Celebrate with others your own age from your school or community? Ride a camel? If you're Jewish, age 18-26, and have never been on a peer-group trip to Israel, Hillel offers the best ways for you to have the time of your life in Israel - FOR FREE!

MASA
This initiative of the Jewish Agency and the Government of Israel provides information, networks and scholarship opportunities for Jewish young adults, aged 18-30, wishing to participate in semester or year long educational programs in Israel.

Hasbara Fellowships
Based in the Old City of Jerusalem, Hasbara Fellowships trains university students to be effective pro-Israel activists. Return to your campus as a leader in the fight for Israel's image. Learn about Israeli and Middle East history and politics with a specific focus on issues related to the Palestinian conflict.

AIPAC/Hillel Advanced Advocacy Israel Mission
AIPAC and Hillel work together to bring a select group of students to Israel to participate in a uniquely designed Advanced Advocacy program. Leading policy makers, media experts, and opinion leaders provided sophisticated training for pro-Israel students interested in pursuing careers or community leadership positions in the fields of Israel advocacy, public affairs, and policy formulation.

Project OTZMA
OTZMA is a ten month program service-based leadership development program offering young adults ages 20-26 the unique opportunity to contribute and acquire an in-depth understanding of Israel and the Jewish people.

Marva Israel Outdoor Course
Marva offers young adults a unique opportunity to experience the physical and emotional challenges of Israel, its problems and people. For those who want to strengthen their ties to Israel, and particularly to the land, Marva is an experience like no other.

Kibbutz Ulpan
Join thousands of young people from all over the world who have learned basic Hebrew on Kibbutz! If you want to learn basic Hebrew and want to experience life in the cooperative community known as Kibbutz, this Ulpan is for you. Although it is no longer exclusively practiced, Kibbutz represents the foundation of Israeli society.

WUJS Arad Institute
International Graduate Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies. The World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) Institute located in Arad, offers young Jewish graduates and professionals from all over the world a well-rounded Jewish, Hebrew, and Israeli education.

Stagerim: Israel Internship Program
Interns work in their professions in a wide variety of disciplines, including medicine, tourism, hi-tech, law, education, social service, communications, government, etc. Each job placement is tailor-made, based on the needs of the employer and the qualifications of the applicant.

Magen David Adom Volunteer Ambulance Program
Spend two incredibly exciting and satisfying months, gaining hands on first-aid and emergency-care experience in Israel. The Magen David Adom (Israeli Ambulance Corps) provides first-aid services throughout Israel and works with its volunteers to provide effective initial treatment.

Volunteers for Israel
Spend two or three weeks living and working alongside Israelis, at an army base or in a hospital. Get an insider's view of the culture and lifestyle of Israel. Be a part of this exciting and important humanitarian experience! During the program, in addition to work assignments, cultural and educational programs are offered.

Jeff Seidel's Student Center
Study for a minimum of three consecutive weeks at one of Jeff Seidel's Student Center affiliated programs. Scholarships of $400-600 are available towards air fare for Hillel students and birthright israel alumni to come to Israel. After the three weeks, students have the option to change their tickets to extend their time in Israel.
