Shabbat at Hillel
We celebrate Shabbat joyfully at Hillel. There will always be a place for you on Friday night. We host Shabbat weekly at UC Irvine, and throughout the month at Chapman University and CSUF. Services take place at 6:30PM, and most are student-led. After services, a delicious, glatt-kosher Shabbat dinner is served. The sounds of song, laughter and meaningful conversation are heard late into the night. The fact that lots of attractive single students see Shabbat at as a good way to meet other Jews is just fine with us!

Holidays at Hillel
We take the commandment to "rejoice on your holidays" seriously. Our Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur programs involve hundreds of participants and we are thrilled to offer meaningful and fun programs throughout the year to make the Jewish holidays special for Jewish students in Orange County. In partnership with student and community organizations, we are able to provide memorable and exciting celebrations of Sukkot, Hannukah, Tu B'Shevat, Purim and Pesach. Events such as the Sukkah Hop, Hanukkah-Palooza, the festive and memorable Purim Feast and our community Seder at Pesach are just a few of the ways we celebrate our history and heritage.
