Hello, I'm Sami! I am the President of Hillel at UCI. I am a third-year studying Psychology, Biology, and Jewish Studies. Being in Hillel has introduced me to so many great people and I feel very lucky to be a part of such a meaningful and special community at UCI. I am your friendly face on campus, and I look forward to meeting new people at our events!

Hi! My name is Maya, I'm a second-year Business Administration major. I'm the Vice President of Hillel at UCI! I chose to join Hillel because of the strong community filled with amazing people. I wanted to make sure that every Jewish student on campus has a space to go to where they will feel safe and comfortable! 

Hello! My name is Fae and I am on the social media committee. I am a first-year Drama major with a Business Management minor. I love Hillel because it has allowed me to meet the friends I have now and it has created a space for me to grow closer to the Jewish community on campus. 

Hey, I’m Shir and I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering major. I joined Hillel to find a fun community of Jewish and Israeli students yet I found my best friends and new home away from home. I am the Education and Outreach Chair and I am excited to get to plan new and meaningful events to help enrich our amazing community. See you there!

Hello, my Hebrew name is Asaf. I am a second-year Biology student serving the Religious Life Committee. Hillel has been a wonderful part of the college experience and serving the Jewish community is a delight.

Hi! I’m Talia, I’m a first-year with an undeclared major, and I’m on the social programming committee. I love Hillel because it allows me to connect with other Jewish students and has brought me into a really great community! 

Hi, my name is Daniel and I am a 2nd year Biomedical Engineering: Premed major. On the Hillel board, I am on the social programming committee. I joined Hillel for the strong Jewish presence and community that it provides for Jewish students :)

Hey! I’m Matthew, but you can call me Matt. I’m a first year student double majoring in Engineering and Drama. Hillel has been an amazing way to meet and connect with Jewish Students on campus, especially as someone coming from out of state (I’m from NYC!) I can’t wait to work with everybody, and plan some super cool events!

Hi everyone! I am Sophia, a sophomore Criminology, Law, and Society and Psychological Sciences Double Major and Native American Studies Minor. This quarter I am helping with our mentorship programming to create engaging educational and social events for students! I love being a part of Hillel because of the opportunity to connect with other Jewish students and the ability to learn about Judaism.

Hi! My name is Sean and I am the Israel Programming Chair. I am a third-year Business Administration major. Hillel has been an amazing community where I can meet and make friends with other Jewish students that I wouldn’t meet otherwise.

Hi, I’m Nova, I am a Junior studying Informatics with a Jewish Studies Minor. I deeply value being a member of the Hillel team, where we support one another as Jewish students, help each other discover our passions, enjoy casual coffee chats, celebrate Jewish traditions, and provide a space to unwind between classes.

Hi, my name is Celia Levin and I’m a third-year Dance Major while also pursuing physical therapy. My position on the board is a Shabbat co-chair. Hillel has always been the place where I can make new connections and friendships, it’s the best part of my day, and I love being able to share the same religion and experiences with many others. It’s been the place I can be myself and call home. 

My name is Jonathan and I am a second-year Bio Sci major. I am one of the Shabbat co-chairs. I joined Hillel because it provides a platform for Jewish students to meet and embrace their culture.
